Our story started with my daughter Evelyn, she's almost 5 now and she was born with Meconium Aspiration. Which is basically almost like having lung disease.
I dont remember alot of happiness, I remember my dad leaving and never coming home. And that seemed to really impact me. We would go and see him on weekends but it was never the same.
I met my husband Craig in 1982. A couple of years later we started dating, it did take a while but we did date and I was nurse training at the time. I think it was 3.5 years later we did get married.
